Differential Design

The [Your Clinic] Wiki is a free project from Differential Design.

Differential Design is an initiative that works to harness the tools of healthcare technology, management, and design to advance health equity and justice.

We understand that the teams providing care to those most in need often don't have the front-end resources or training to implement health care management and technology strategies that ultimately lead to the highest quality health care service delivery, while also supporting staff well being to avoid burnout.

Differential Design was founded to support those individuals and systems.

Together, we hope to bridge the quality care gap and improve receipt of quality health care by all people, regardless of income, race, zip code, prior abuse experienced by the capitalist healthcare industrial complex, or health professional shortage area score.

If your clinic needs additional support beyond the free, open access resources provided here, please don't hesitate to reach out via our website.

The [Your Clinic] Wiki Team

[Your Clinic] Wiki was initially just our own jerry-rigged clinic intranet.

It was spearheaded by a medical resident, Aaron Shapiro, two nurses, Elenita D'Aloia and Abigail Forson, and the Assistant Medical Director, Mary Gover, at our Federally Qualified Health Center in the South Bronx, NY.

The wiki quickly became fully integrated into our clinic workflows with exceptionally positive feedback. And then we thought, "why shouldn't everyone benefit from this?!"

We presented the project at the 2022 Society for General Internal Medicine Conference.

And then, Differential Design, Clinici.wiki, and The [Your Clinic] Wiki were born.

We just launched in spring 2022, so please share broadly and let us know what you think.

We're constantly looking for ways to improve quality of healthcare service delivery and decrease burnout. So don't hesitate to reach out with feedback or opportunities to collaborate.
